How do I run the same group every week without redoing everything?
Register the group and the court once — players and locations live in a roster that carries over to every tournament. With your defaults filled in under Settings, creating the week's tournament is just setting the pairs and tapping Generate and start.
In 30 seconds
- Players and locations don't die with the tournament: they live under Settings › Collections, ready for next week.
- Settings › Preferences › Tournament defaults makes Step 2 come pre-filled with your size, your games and your scoring.
- Honest limit: every tournament is independent. There is no ranking adding up the weeks.

Build the roster, just once
Settings › Collections › Players › + — name and phone. With the right phone number, the WhatsApp invite goes out ready every week. Settings › Collections › Locations › + — name, city and the pin on the map (how to register in detail).

Set the defaults your way
Settings › Preferences › Tournament defaults — how many pairs, how many games a match goes to, scoring type, message language and how the invites go out. The app itself tells you: “These values appear pre-filled when you create a new tournament.”

During the week, create as usual
Home › Create new tournament. Step 2 already comes with your defaults. In Step 3, tap each slot and pick from MY PLAYERS — the same list as always, nobody typed in again. Only the day's pairs change.

At the end of the day, finish it
The finished tournament moves to the History tab (how to finish). Tap any past week to review the full ranking and scores.
Want a clean-up without losing the group? Settings › Data › Clear tournaments only — “Keeps players and locations”.
What goes wrong here
- You want to delete a player and the Remove button doesn't show — anyone who's in a pair in any tournament can't be removed. The app protects the history.
- When removing someone who's free, the warning is “Delete Ana from your list? Tournaments they already played in stay intact.” — deleting from the roster doesn't touch old results.
- “No finished tournaments” on the History tab — a tournament only lands there after you finish it. Until then, it stays under Tournaments.
- Looking for the season ranking? It doesn't exist. Next to each name, the player list shows at most “in 5 tournaments” — a count, not an accumulated score.
Why it works this way
The engine separates what's yours from what belongs to the tournament. Players and locations are yours and carry across the weeks; matches, scores and rankings are born and die inside each tournament. That's what keeps every Saturday clean and independent — mess up one week, and the next doesn't suffer. It's also why there's still no season adding up results: a ranking across tournaments simply isn't in the app today, and we'd rather say so than pretend it is.
