How do I enter the score courtside?
Tournament › Matches tab › tap the match. Adjust with the + and − buttons, wait for the strip below to turn green, and tap Save result.
In 30 seconds
- The Next match card at the top of the tournament takes you straight to the match at hand — no digging through the list.
- The strip under the score validates on every tap: green with “Placar válido — Ana & Bruno vence.” (Valid score — Ana & Bruno win.) or red with the exact reason.
- No signal at the beach? It saves anyway. The app keeps everything on your iPhone and syncs on its own when the internet comes back.

Tournament › Matches tab
Or, faster: the Next match · No. X card at the top of the screen, with the play button. The progress bar up there shows how many matches are done out of the total. In Americano the list comes grouped by Round 1, Round 2...; in Fixed Pairs, by Pending and Completed.

2
Tap the match
The Match X screen opens. Up top, a reminder of the tournament rule: “First to 4 games wins” (the number is whatever you chose at creation).
-
3
Adjust with + and −
Big numbers, round buttons — it works with sweaty hands and sun on the screen, no typing. The − stops at zero and the + stops at the target: in a tournament to 4 games, there’s no entering a 5.
-
4
Wait for the strip to turn green
“Placar válido — Ana & Bruno vence.” (Valid score — Ana & Bruno win.) You never pick the winner: the app derives it from the score. If the strip is red, it says exactly what’s wrong.
-
5
Save result
The button only comes alive when the strip is green. Save, back to the list — and the ranking has already changed, in the app and on the page the group follows through the link.
Got the score wrong? Until the tournament is finished, just open the match again, fix it, and save once more.
What goes wrong here
- “The match can’t end in a tie.” — there are no ties in the app. Someone has to close out the match.
- “Neither team reached 4 games.” — the match isn’t over yet. 3×2 in a tournament to 4 doesn’t close it; keep playing.
- “Score above the 4-game limit.” — in beach tennis the winner closes exactly at the target: 4×3 counts, 5×3 doesn’t exist.
- “The tournament has already been finished. Results can no longer be changed.” — the screen shows the “Tournament finished — results locked” banner with a padlock, and the score won’t budge.
- Save result button grayed out — the strip is red. Read the strip: the reason is always there.
Why it works this way
The winner is never typed in — it’s derived from the score, and the app only accepts scores that actually exist in beach tennis. That’s what keeps the ranking from ever breaking: there’s no way a 5×3 or a tie gets in to scramble points and game balance down the line. And since beach tennis courts tend to have terrible signal, the app stores each result on the iPhone itself and sends it when the connection returns — you enter the score on court, and the internet can catch up later.
